From concept to design to build, founder Todd Carrico and his team, works one-on-one with each client to ensure each project, no matter the size, is a source of pride that is a reflection of the partnership between the client and himself. Todd Carrico, Founder
With more than 30 years’ experience in the construction industry, Todd Carrico has a unique ability to discern each client’s vision for their project. Commercial and residential clients work directly with Todd throughout every phase of construction: from initial consultation to design/build to property management/site services. It is because of his unique discernment, 24/7 availability and consummate commitment to excellence that Todd Carrico and his team have made Carrico Stone Construction one of the most in-demand, full-service general contracting firms in Kauai.
A native of Indiana, Todd was employed by some of the largest union and non-union general contractors in the state. The build of IUSB Community College, the construction of Ivy Tech and the most ambitious stadium renovation in the history of the University of Notre Dame, were just a few of the construction projects in which Todd was an integral team member.
Bringing his midwestern work ethic to Kauai, Todd and his company of master masons and master carpenters have been lauded for their customer service, knowledge and craftsmanship from some of the state’s most respected brokers, architects and engineers. Todd firmly believes his team; their cohesive teamwork, unparalleled skillset and their family-like environment is his company’s most valuable asset.
Todd attended Ivy Tech in South Bend, Indiana and is a master mason and mason carpenter. He is a former member of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers.
In his rare spare time, he is an avid outdoorsman and marathoner. He resides in Lihue, Kauai.
James Stone
James Stone’s passion for the construction industry has made him a favorite among Carrico Stone clients and staff. He honed his skills in both Alaska and Hawaii, working for some of the largest construction companies in both states. It has often been remarked that the only thing Alaska and Hawaii have in common is that both earned statehood in1959, enjoy extreme climates and both have been fortunate to have James Stone a valued member of their communities.
In the field, James oversees and manages new construction operations from start to finish making the building process as seamless as possible for homeowners and commercial construction clients, alike. Ensuring all projects are on-time and on budget, his commitment to excellence, master craftsmanship and dedication are rare finds but, are true testaments to his character.
In his off hours, he is a board member of the Hokualele Canoe Club and can be found paddling the magical waters of the Aloha state. He also enjoys restoring classic trucks and cars. He resides in Kalaheo.
